Comedian and actor, Lil Rel Howery just revealed that he and his beloved, Dannella Lane are married now! The 45-year-old new hubby appeared on “Access Hollywood” alongside his “Unexpected Christmas” movie co-star, Tabitha Brown and when Mario Lopez asked how the wedding planning was going, Howery decided to come clean.

“She may get mad, but that’s ok,” he said directly to the camera, as if talking to his newly minted wife. “So we eloped a few weeks ago.” The audience hooted and hollered as Howery showed off his wedding band.

The happy couple still plans on having a beautiful wedding celebration, but they were ready to tie the knot with minimal strings attached. The two lovebirds were engaged in 2023, and Howery decided to propose during Beyoncé’s special birthday Renaissance stop in Los Angeles. The funny man said he hit up Momma Tina Knowles for the assist and advice on which song to pop the question to. She suggested “Love On Top.”

Just last year, Howery told People that he and Lane’s wedding would be whatever she wanted. 

"We are not going to say it yet, and I've been sitting on the date, but it's going to be whatever she wants to do. [Also what] I want to do, this is both of our second time being married and this is our last time. And so we want to make this a beautiful, beautiful ceremony."
