Eminem Nets Big Payday at V Fest \r
It's no secret that Eminem is the biggest selling artist in hip hop, but the diamond-status rapper is proving that he's one of music's highest earning performers as well. For a two-night set at England's V Festival this weekend, Slim Shady reportedly raked in a cool two million pounds, or roughly $3.3 million.
At a total of about 50 songs performed in two 90-minute sets, that adds up to approximately $66,000 per song.
But even that towering figure isn't a record for Eminem. The Grammy-winner, who hasn't toured in support of either of his two most recent albums, 2009's Relapse and 2010's Recovery, reportedly earned a whopping $7.5 million for his twin co-headlining performances with Jay-Z last year.
At England's V Fest, pop siren Rihanna is also said to have brought home an impressive sum, earning $1.65 million for two performances. Who says music doesn't pay anymore?
