P.J. Washington’s Child Support Payments to Brittany Renner Revealed in Court Docs

The Mavericks forward is set to pay $5,500 a month plus a $130,000 lump sum, ending speculation about how much the influencer actually receives.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington has agreed to shell out $5,500 a month in child support to Brittany Renner, according to court docs filed in North Carolina.

Documents obtained by TMZ Sports state that the basketball star was additionally ordered to pay a lump sum of $130,000 to satisfy "any and all existing child support accruing prior to the entry of this consent order, as well as for Renner's attorney's fees."

New details surfaced this month after Renner filed paperwork in Los Angeles County, ensuring that her child support agreement with Washington would carry over to California, despite the original order being entered in North Carolina.

According to the filing, the “Basketball Wives” star made it clear Washington isn’t behind on payments. Court docs show he owes “$0 in arrears,” meaning the Dallas Mavericks forward has been up to date on what he’s required to pay.

The number has been a point of speculation online for years, with rumors circulating that the monthly checks were in excess of $200,000. Renner eventually set the record straight in an interview, saying she actually receives “$2,500 a month.”

Renner and Washington first connected in 2019, after she was spotted courtside at one of his Kentucky games, and he decided to take a chance. By 2020, they were official, and a year late,r Washington confirmed they had welcomed a baby boy.

The relationship has had its fair share of public moments. Last month, cameras caught the two in a tense back-and-forth outside Renner’s home as Washington came by to pick up their son.

Since then, the 25-year-old has moved on romantically with Alisah Chanel, tying the knot in 2023 and professionally with a major bag. Earlier this month, Washington locked in a four-year, $90 million extension with the Mavericks.
