Doctors Say Period Cramps Are As Painful As A Heart Attack Even Though Women Have Been Saying This Forever And No One Believed Us

Most women know the classes and education you receive on the menstruation cycle can never prepare you for the debilitating cramps you may experience during your time of the month. Period cramps often keep women bed ridden, yet it has never been treated as a serious medical condition, well not until a bunch of male doctors finally agreed with us.
In a recent report by Quartz, John Guillebaud, a professor of reproductive health at University College London, said his patients described menstrual cramps, or Dysmenorrhea as it's technically called, were "almost as bad as having a heart attack."

And women everywhere were like "wow, you don't say"
In reality, the pain felt by women and our description of that pain has always been questioned
Of course there were men who doubted the claims
Which prompted women to back up the claims with receipts
Maybe now women can finally get paid time off and people will believe us when we cancel plans because of cramping
