Rotimi Signs to G-Unit Records
Is Power and Empire really that different? After 50 Cent's public beef with Empire’s storyline, it seems like Power is following in their footsteps by casting an actor who has an actual record deal in his hands. G-Unit just added a new addition to their team, and it’s one of the show’s main characters.
Rotimi, who plays Dre on this season’s Power announced that he signed a deal with 50 Cent’s label. The actor/singer/model follows Kidd Kidd, the latest addition to G-Unit, which now includes returning members Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck.
To celebrate, Rotimi premiered the official version of his song “Lotto” featuring a new verse by Fif. “Lotto” is a smooth offering where the pair talks about hitting the lottery and having fun. The song first was performed at the Power season 2 premiere and concert at Best Buy Theater earlier this month. Click here to listen.
