Drake's Toronto Mansion Will Be So Ridiculous, the City Council Has to Review It

A hearing is scheduled to discuss whether or not Drizzy will be able to move forward with his plans.

Drake has some big plans for his new mansion, so big in fact that there is to be a town hearing to discuss whether or not he can pull it all off.

As reported, a hearing will take place in Drizzy's hometown on May 26 to review whether or not a construction exemption will be issued to the rapper. Currently, his plans are larger than the current law in Toronto will allow.

Drake submitted plans to build a 21,000-square-foot mansion where he has already spent over $6 million on two acres of property.

The rapper is looking to set up shop in the upscale neighborhood of Bridle Path, where a handful of businessmen and musicians currently reside. So far, there has been no vocal opposition to Drizzy moving into the neighborhood.

His custom-built mansion will include a basketball court (of course), a swimming pool (bigger than Kanye's?), a theater room, a hot tub on the roof and a museum to keep his valuables safely displayed. The luxury home is being built by Ferris Rafauli, who has worked for the rapper in the past.

We can't be mad at Drizzy for celebrating his recent success from VIEWS by way of throwing his hard-earned money at a project of this scale.
