New Music Friday: Kendrick Lamar, Stevie Wonder, & Tyla Drop Fresh Tunes

New albums, diss tracks, and surprise collaborations line this week’s playlist.

Another week, another New Music Friday--a slew of new albums were just released from some of our favorite musicians. 

Tyla, Niko Brim, Future and Metro Boomin, and Kenya Vaun all just dropped brand-new records alongside a nostalgic, humanitarian-led anthem from Gary Clark Jr. and Stevie Wonder. Kendrick Lamar took aim at a few of his rap peers, and Lenny Kravitz released another track of his upcoming LP, Blue Electric Light.

    Grammy Award winners and musical legends Gary Clark Jr. and Stevie Wonder team up for this funky duet begging us to consider the kids amidst all this chaos.

  • Like That - Future, Metro Boomin, Kendrick Lamar

    Kendrick Lamar teamed up with Future and Metro Boomin to take shots at fellow rappers Drake and J. Cole. “F*ck sneak dissing/'First Person Shooter,'” Lamar rapped, referencing their joint album. "Think I won't drop the location? I still got PTSD/Motherfuck the Big 3, n***a, it's just big me."

  • Yesterday - Kenya Vaun 

    Up-and-comer Kenya Vaun just released her soulful debut EP, The Honeymoon Phase, and with it, “Yesterday,” a nostalgic ode to her youth and hometown of Philadelphia.

    Rapper Niko Brim aspires to “Die A Legend” on track ten of his new album, HUES.

    The South African superstar’s debut album is here and full of sensual afrobeat bangers, including this club-ready track by Tyla featuring hip-hop stars Gunna and Skillibeng.
