After revealing that his mother was in critical condition and on a ventilator, Tyrese is now telling his fans some good news: his mother is in a much better state.

Taking to Instagram, the "Shame" singer gushed about his mother's progress:

Tyrese made another post, showing his mother's hospital band with her name changed to "Super Woman." He explained how grateful he is to God for having his mother's health on the up and up.

The recently Grammy-nominated singer is very close with his mother, Priscilla Murray Gibson. His father, Tyrone, left the family when he was just six years old.

We're glad to know that Black Ty's mom is doing well.
