Odell Beckham Jr. Shuts Down Viral Retirement Rumors
Odell Beckham is shutting down rumors of any retirement talk.
It’s been a few months since the world has seen Beckham on the field after mutually agreeing to be released from his contract with the Miami Dolphins back in December 2024, as ESPN previously reported.
The release was “mutual,” according to the outlet.
Recently, a Twitter parody account posted a photo of Beckham Jr. outside Metlife Stadium with a caption alluding to the veteran’s retirement.
“After 10 seasons in the NFL, Odell Beckham Jr. has decided to retire,” the account captioned.
“Beckham Jr. played for the Giants, Browns, Rams, Ravens, and Dolphins. He announced Tuesday,” the caption continued.
This didn’t sit well with the 32-year-old, who quickly responded.
“LOL WTF… when was that announced and by who?” the Louisiana native wrote.
“That’s funny, appreciate the concerns but this Sh*t ain’t over yet.”
He then followed up with tweets on his own account, expressing that his followers not feed into rumors and how he is “not done yet.”
“Plz stop reading everything on the internet, and stop texting me happy retirement b4 u piss me off,” he wrote.
“That will get no response. I promise u the day I’m done I will let u kno. Again if u text me happy retirement im just gon have to block u. Thanks.”
