Stacey Dash’s Arrest Record Lists Her As ‘White’ And Reveals Her Sad Financial Situation

This goes way beyond the Sunken Place.

Clueless star Stacey Dash was arrested for domestic battery on September 29 after attacking her husband, lawyer Jeffrey Marty. Now it is being reported that the actress was bailed out of jail by the very man whom she allegedly assaulted.

According to Page Six, Pasco County Court records show that Marty paid $500 to free his wife from the Land-O-Lakes Detention Facility on Monday morning. Also noted in Dash's booking record is one specific detail that many may find ironic — she was listed as "white" in the race portion of the form.

Adding more texture to the story, TMZ reports that Dash, 52, revealed in her legal documents that she is broke and therefore cannot afford to hire a private attorney. Due to her financial situation, she is, instead, asking to be represented by a public defender in her case.

CNN further reports that, according to documents filed in Pasco County Circuit Court state, Dash entered a written plea of not guilty on Wednesday morning on a domestic battery charge.

As previously reported, the former political pundit was arrested on Sunday for domestic battery after alleged pushing and slapping her husband, Jeffrey Marty, during an argument at their New Port Richey home. Marty suffered red scratches to his arm, according to a criminal complaint.

Dash reportedly was the one who called the police about the incident, based on the 911 call initially obtained by The Post. In it, she claimed Marty put her in a chokehold as she argued with his 15-year-old daughter.

The couple tied the knot last year, 10 days after their first meeting.
