Official 911 Call From Kanye West's Doctor Released

The physician is advised to keep all weapons away from West.

As Kanye West is finally home and resting up well, developing details of his Nov. 21 admittance into the UCLA Medical Center are surfacing.

The latest to come about is the official emergency call made by Dr. Michael Farzam, West’s personal physician.

Previous reports claimed that West’s unstable temperament caused him to attack a gym employee and even be handcuffed to the stretcher used by the ambulance to transport him.

While the audio of the call is somewhat muffled, the dispatcher can be heard confirming that it is Farzam placing the call on behalf of West. Farzam also asks for police backup in the video (0:18), seldom releasing any details of Yeezy’s condition.

The dispatcher advises the physician to stay attentive to West until emergency services arrive and keep any weapons away from him. He also directs Farzam to call 911 back if West becomes “physically combative” before officials arrive. The call, which is just over 60 seconds, was obtained by TMZ, who also reported that West was found at his trainer’s home in L.A.
