Will Smith Seemingly Pokes Fun At Chris Rock Oscar Slap On TikTok As One-Year Anniversary Approaches

The prop the famed actor used says it all.

Will Smith will always have a sense of humor.

On Monday (February 20), the King Richard actor posted a video on Tiktok seeming to make a joke about the controversy he stirred at the 2022 Oscars for slapping fellow actor Chris Rock on stage after the standup comic made a joke Smith took to be about his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith’s alopecia.

In the social media video, Smith is seen listening and interested in what TikTok user @missmoneyworking in another video explaining that inanimate objects can tell you what they think of you.

"It sounds insane, but it will change your life, and by change your life, I mean it will make your life so much more interesting and fun," the other TikTok user says. "Did you know that you can pick any object, look at it and ask it what it thinks of you? So, for example, you can pick up a pen and ask it how it sees you or what it thinks of you, and you will get an answer in your mind from your intuition. You can ask your car what it thinks of you. You can even ask money what it thinks of you."

Smith then picks up his “Best Actor” Oscar trophy from off-camera and gives it a puzzled look.

Last July, Smith released a YouTube video titled "It's Been A Minute" where he addressed some of the common questions people asked after the slap, including why he didn't apologize to Rock during his acceptance speech.

The one-year anniversary of the infamous slap is next month, and neither Smith nor Rock have sat down for an interview or spoken about the event at length.
