While announcing the nominees for the category for Best Performance By An Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama at the 2018 Golden Globes, Sarandon, who has garnered a reputation of being quite problematic, made what many are calling a telling blunder.
The Thelma & Louise actress almost skipped over nominee Denzel Washington's name while reading the list of men for his role in the highly praised Roman J. Israel, Esq.
While she reverted and said his name after the mistake was already noticeable, social media wasn't as forgiving as the audience of movie stars.
