Viral Video of White Cops Realizing They Pulled Over Florida's Only Black Female State Attorney for a BS Reason
Video filmed by the body camera of a Florida police officer during a traffic stop has many people scratching their heads. On June 19, Florida State Attorney Aramis Ayala was stopped by police officers for reasons some are having a difficult time believing.
In the video, captured in Orlando, Florida, Ayala was pulled over by two white male police officers. As the two officers approached her vehicle, they each took a position on the driver’s and passenger’s sides of the car. While they assume their position, Ayala pulls out her license in preparation.
When Ayala handed one of the officers her ID, he asked about a symbol on her license indicating she is a state attorney. When Ayala questioned why the officers pulled her over, they seemed to scramble to find a reason.
The video has been posted to YouTube and shared on many social media platforms
The officer tried to explain that Ayala's tags did not come up when they ran them and that her windows were dark, prompting them to stop her. However, the officer also stated that he didn’t have a device to measure the tint level of her windows.
Ayala eventually asked for the officers to give her their business cards, yet they wrote their names down on a piece of notepad paper instead.
Many people found the reasoning for the stop wildly suspicious
Others commented on the way the officer reacted to hearing her title
