The rookie quarterback was cited twice for speeding in June.

Executives of the Cleveland Browns have addressed the speeding tickets issued to Shedeur Sanders.

According to local news station Fox 8, Sanders will be paying the cost of the fines. He will not be required to appear in court.

On Tuesday (June 17), Sanders was pulled over for reportedly driving over 100 mph.

Per Strongsville police records, Sanders was on I-71 North around 12:24 a.m. on June 17 by police officers. The report of the incident stated that Sanders was driving 101 mph, 41 miles over the speed limit.

On June 5, Sanders was also cited by the Ohio State Highway Patrol for speeding. According to OSHP reports, Sanders was cited for traveling 91 mph in the Brunswick Hills area, where the posted speed limit is 65 mph.

Making an appearance at teammate David Njoku's annual celebrity softball game at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake, Ohio, Sanders addressed the matter for the first time. Joined by Cleveland rapper Doe Boy,  he was asked about his speeding tickets. Doe Boy said that Sanders was "just a regular kid.

"I'm just a little boy,” Sanders responded.

He then briefly shared his thoughts about the incidents.

“He's talking about overall in life. You know I made some wrong choices personally, I gotta own up to them. I made some not great choices." Sanders continued. "I learned" multiple times.

The Browns have stated that Sanders will handle the tickets.
