Merry Lil Christmas: Lil Baby and Lil Yachty Team Up For Atlanta Toy Drive
Rappers Lil Baby and Lil Yachty love the kids!
Lil Baby and Lil Yachty teamed up to host a large holiday giveback in Atlanta’s West End on Saturday, Dec. 20. The event was organized through Lil Baby’s nonprofit, The Jones Project, in partnership with The Lil Yachty Foundation.
Organizers transformed a warehouse into a distribution site where families picked up donated items and accessed seasonal services. The giveback served over 2,000 children and families.
According to reports, a range of high-value items were distributed to attendees, including bicycles, televisions, laptops and gaming consoles, winter coats, gift cards and toys; outlets note other essentials and apparel were also provided. Lil Baby and Lil Yachty circulated through the crowd for hours during the event and handed out items. Both rappers were also seen helping parents carry items, in an effort to ensure every child received a gift.
Community partners and local sponsors supported the logistics and set up holiday amenities such as photo opportunities and hot chocolate stations for families. The event is a part of each artist’s ongoing community work — The Jones Project’s focus on West End youth and The Lil Yachty Foundation’s emphasis on youth development and mentorship in Georgia.
The rappers’ holiday shindig even featured special appearances from Santa and members of the Atlanta Hawks organization, including the mascot, Harry the Hawk, and the dance team also performed.
