A$AP Rocky Hints His Third Child With Rihanna Could Be Named Denzel
A$AP Rocky just revealed the name of his and Rihanna’s third baby.
In his GQ interview, Rocky didn’t come right out with an announcement, but he didn’t deny it either. As the outlet hinted Rihanna may have already welcomed their newest little one, his laid-back “thanks for the congratulations” quickly shifted into a name reveal for baby number three that could be carrying the name of none other than Denzel Washington.
The 36-year-old didn’t hesitate, saying, “Denzel, no matter what. The first female to come out named Denzel, it’s lit. We got it figured out.”
During a joint interview with the outlet last month, while praising both Spike Lee and Washington, who were present, for giving him the opportunity to be a part of a film with both, Washington interjects, laughing off saying “I think Denzel’s a beautiful name for a son,” and Lee jumped right in with, “You got to!”
The “Fckin’ Problems” rapper opened up to the outlet about how this pregnancy feels “different” compared to when he and the Fenty Beauty mogul were preparing for baby RZA and Riot Rose.
“Nothing’s ever the same. Each experience is always just different in its own right. And it’s no different with this one,” he explained.
Rocky reflected on his growth over the years, not just as an artist, but as a man and a father.
“I think the evolution of who I am as a person, as an individual, as a dad, an artist, as far as being a parent at that time… just quite f*cking interesting, if you ask me, to see in front of everybody’s eyes how much I’ve been yearning to be a dad, and a loving dad.”
He went on to speak candidly about how much fatherhood occupies in his life. “I got nothing but love to give to these little ones. And as you can see, that’s what occupies a lot of my heart capacity, being a father,” he said.
