Kim Kardashian debuted her SKIMS shapewear collection at Nordstrom in NYC yesterday (Feb.5th), and the presentation had an elaborate quality that seemed oddly familiar. We couldn't help but see a strong resemblance with her husband, Kanye West's Yeezy brand.

Kanye's Yeezy brand gained a cult following back in 2015 after the success of his shoe collection with Adidas birthed a whole clothing collection. West elevated athletic wear to an unprecedented level, an aesthetic that is now at the forefront of fashion design. Through some research, we found uncanny reasons why Kim's SKIMS line and the Yeezy brand are nearly identical twins. From the posing formation down to the style of clothing, the display was undeniably inspired by Kanye West.
