R. Kelly's Accusers Testify Disturbing Details About His Alleged Sex Trafficking Of Underage Girls

The goddaughter of the disgraced R&B artist is also included in their courtroom testimonies.

The string of sexual abuse cases against R. Kelly ramps up as prosecutors bring forth new possible charges for witness tampering during his 2008 trial, according to TMZ’s sources.

  • TMZ states that new evidence presented to prosecutors on Wednesday (May 29) unearthed that the embattled R&B star allegedly paid off the family of the alleged victim in that case, his goddaughter, according to one witness's testimony.

In 2008, Kelly was acquitted of child pornography charges after the alleged victim did not come forward to testify.

Other witnesses testified that Kelly's team allegedly sent them on vacation or paid them off while the trial was ongoing so they wouldn't be able to testify. For those who he didn't send away, he purportedly used intimidation and threats of bodily harm to stop them from coming forward at the time.

  • If proven true, this would be bring a new set of charges of obstruction of justice against R. Kelly, who is currently fighting against a slew of other indictments, including sex trafficking and 10 counts sexual abuse.

Witnesses further corroborated the sex trafficking allegations, alleging that Kelly’s team knowingly transferred underage girls across state lines for sexual purposes at his behest. In March, audio evidence surfaced where a teenage girl told her vocal coach that R. Kelly coerced her to lie about their sexual relationship to her parents.
