They're back! Miami detectives Marcus Barnett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) are on a mission to stop the distribution of ecstasy into their city. Unfortunately, a drug bust gone awry has the two partners questioning the future of their partnership and further complicating the situation is Mike's relationship with Sydney Burnett (Gabrielle Union), Marcus' sister. When the two learn that Sydney is part of an undercover operation looking to take down the same suspects they are after and that her life is in danger, it becomes clear that these good cops will have to play like bad boys.
