Clipse Drops Trailer for New ‘F.I.C.O.’ Video Ahead of Tomorrow’s Release

The duo teases visuals from their Grammy-nominated album ‘Let God Sort ‘Em Out,’ keeping the momentum going for one of the album's fan-favorite cuts.

Clipse just gave fans a taste of what’s next. The duo dropped a snippet on socials for their “F.I.C.O.” video, set to release Thursday (Nov.13). The single comes from their Grammy-nominated album “Let God Sort ‘Em Out,” and it’s already one of the project’s fan favorites.

A week after receiving five Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year, Clipse is keeping the momentum strong. “F.I.C.O.” marks the fourth official video from "Let God Sort ‘Em Out" and features Stove God Cooks. The visual is directed by Hannan Hussain, who also earned a nomination for his work on Clipse’s “So Be It,” up for Best Music Video at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in February. Along with Album of the Year and Best Music Video, the duo also landed nods for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance for “Chains and Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar, and Best Rap Song for “The Birds Don’t Sing” featuring John Legend.

The trailer puts you right in the streets. You see the POV of someone driving through the neighborhood before pulling up on a friend who’s rapping Clipse lyrics. The friend pauses and says, “Boy this that thang, I’m telling you, boy Clipse, them boys back.” It’s a small moment, but it carries the energy of the track and teases the visuals fans can expect.

“F.I.C.O.” is the perfect choice to keep the album moving. In its first week, “Let God Sort ‘Em Out” sold 118,000 units and debuted at Number Four on the Billboard 200, Clipse’s highest chart debut ever. The snippet fits perfectly with the rollout strategy for the album, which has been intentional and high-level from the start.

Dropping the trailer now keeps the album momentum going and gives fans something to talk about while building anticipation for the full video. Between the first-week numbers, the fan response, and the visuals teased in the clip, Clipse is making sure this album stays in conversation and for good reason.

Clipse rollout has been iconic from the start. It’d been 16 years since the last Clipse album, “Til the Casket Drops”, until their July 2025 release, which marked the first project from the duo since 2009.

Clipse is keeping the album’s energy alive, and the “F.I.C.O” trailer is just the latest move keeping fans locked in. Reminding everyone that this album wasn’t just a historic moment in time for hip hop, it’s a full campaign that continues to demand attention and respect.

Set your reminders for midnight so you can be the first to catch the “F.I.C.O” video on YouTube when it drops at midnight.
