Offset Honors Late Cousin Takeoff With Large Back Tattoo

The Migos rapper took to Instagram over the weekend to reveal the new work of art.

On Saturday (April 15), Offset took to his Instagram account to share that he got a large back tattoo honoring his late cousin Takeoff, who was killed in November 2022.

"Love you 4L & after," the Migos member captioned the post featuring a pair of pictures of the new tat.

In the comments, fans and fellow celebrities offered their support and condolences for Offset, who is still clearly grieving over the loss of his fellow group member and family member.

Busta Rhymes commented with a series of rocket ship and hand emojis while one fan wrote, “The tattoo artist did Take justice in capturing him and his essence. That back tattoo ain't for the weak. His pain tolerance must be ridiculous. ❤️ long live the🚀.”

Takeoff was shot in the head and back outside a Houston bowling alley on November 1, 2022 as more than 30 people were leaving a private party at a Houston bowling alley.

Local station KPRC reported that prosecutors have video evidence of suspect Patrick Clark pointing and firing a gun in the direction of a group of people. Investigators found his fingerprints on a wine bottle that Clark left at the scene. The police arrested Clark on December 1.

According to Houston police officials, a dispute over a dice game preceded at least two people opening fire around 2:30 a.m. The suburban Atlanta rapper, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, was an innocent bystander.
