NLE Choppa Provides Free Food For Students At Kevin Hart’s Plant-Based L.A. Restaurant

The Memphis rapper also donated proceeds from the event to LA Promise Fund’s Black College Success Initiative.

NLE Choppa is giving back to those who just need a good meal.

Last week, the Memphis rapper spent his time serving free food to college students from Kevin Hart’s new plant-based restaurant in Los Angeles. Titled “Study Break Sessions” students from USC were able to receive the generous offerings.

For the hour that NLE was there, 10 percent of the proceeds were donated to LA Promise Fund’s Black College Success Initiative.

Additionally, undergrads at the school were able to watch cheerleaders from USC performing NLE Choppa’s records while they were eating.

“Man it felt good,” he told HipHopDX at the event. “They ain’t have to come all to register one time like that though. My first day on the job, they see me, there’s a lot of people walking through the door. So, I told them we was out of burgers, and food, and shit.”
