Shocking Revelations and Unraveling Drama: A Cliffhanger for Andi in the Latest 'Sistas' Episode
Last week’s episode of Sistas ended with the dinner date at Jordan’s place. And for some reason, Gary is there. It turns out, he’s friends with Jordan and had the nerve to act like he didn’t know who Andi was. We pick up this week’s episode from the moment Andi decided to go along with it. Gary quickly tries to leave, and Jordan, none the wiser, insists that Gary stick around.
When Danni and Sabrina get a glimpse of Gary, they obviously question Andi about what’s up and Danni, especially, wants to call Gary out, but she keeps it cute for now. Things get worse when Jordan’s pregnant sister, Penelope, comes through and it’s revealed that Gary is Penelope’s fiance and child’s father. Danni asks how long she has been with Gary and Penny says three years. Obviously, there has been some overlap with Gary and Andi’s relationship.
Andi is surprisingly calm about it, and keeps her cool as Gary is forced to stay. Penny also mentions that Jordan can’t stop talking about Andi and that she hopes they can develop what she has with Gary. Yikes.
Eventually, the girls find out that Penny and Zac met on a blind date. Gary also bought Penny an apartment and a car. You know, the same stuff he did with Andi when they were kicking it. There’s a lot of awkward convo, and Danni almost lets the truth slip out multiple times before Rich and Tony break it up asking Sabrina and Danni for a dance. At some point, something starts burning in the kitchen, which causes people to go check on it. That leaves Andi and her girls. Andi tries to take that opportunity to get out of there as quickly as possible. She says she can’t bear to see Penny thinking that everything is sweet with Gary and she just wants to go. Danni points out that this is why Penny needs to know and that Gary deserves to be exposed. Danni adds that she will tell Penny if Andi doesn’t and that’s when Penny walks in having picked up on the tension, and wants to know what’s up. That’s where we leave things for now.
