GloRilla Tells Estranged Sister to ‘Keep My Family Out of It’ After Viral Call-Out

Victoria Woods accused the rapper of not supporting relatives and GloRilla posted proof of support and demanded privacy.

Memphis rapper GloRilla has had enough of her family drama being dragged through these internet streets!

Glo hopped on Instagram live and told fans to “keep my family out of it” after her sister, Victoria Woods — who goes by Scar Face — publicly accused the artist of neglecting relatives despite her success.

The feud blew up after Woods posted a series of livestreams and clips alleging that GloRilla hadn’t been supporting their family. Woods said their mother was still working at FedEx, accused Glo of not helping an autistic brother, and demanded financial help — even claiming she was owed rent assistance and questioning the rapper’s generosity. The posts drew heavy attention and a wave of reactions on social media

GloRilla swiftly responded online. She shared a screenshot of a message from her mother thanking her as proof the rapper was providing support and directed a message at her sister during a livestream: “I ain’t gone talk about half the stuff you did, just leave it alone. You doing you right now, keep doing you, [but] keep my family out of it, and keep me out of it. My people that I f*ck wit, they straight.”

Glo’s brother, comedian, and actor Mojo Brooks shared a video, urging his sisters to stop airing out family business online, as he aired their family business out online. Other family members publicly defended GloRilla. Her father said the family’s private issues were nobody else’s business, and one of Glo’s cousins, Lena Harris, pushed back on Woods’ claims — even telling a local outlet that GloRilla has financially supported relatives, citing large gifts and payments. Those family statements added friction to an already noisy public debate.

Woods also said outside help arrived, sharing that Tory Lanez — who has been imprisoned after firing shots at Megan Thee Stallion in 2020 — offered assistance, and later shared screenshots suggesting she had received money after her public calls for help.

This episode follows a familiar pattern: when artists rise quickly, expectations about money and care can fracture familial bonds. Public pressure rarely helps fragile family dynamics and can expose vulnerable members to harassment. During Glo’s IG live, she called her mother and her mother said that because of the drama exposing her, she had to resign from her job at FedEx.

Victoria Woods has continued to post on Facebook and Instagram and the back-and-forth has quieted slightly as family members and fans continue to weigh in. Many fans comment beg the question: do you owe your family members when/if you become rich?
