Nicki Minaj Expertly Checks Troll Who Claims She's Famous for Her Butt
There's no denying that Nicki Minaj has one of the best booties in the music biz, but in a recent Twitter rant, Minaj wanted to let the haters know that her ass and her fame are two separate entities. Just last night, Minaj was quick to respond after seeing a sexist tweet that suggested her derriere is the reason she's famous.
After Bossip put out an open question asking why hip hop is so rough on female MCs, the site retweeted one follower who rudely stated, "Yep, men are visual creatures they don't are if you can sing...That's why nicki had to buy an a** to blow up! #Fact."
Yeah, not so factual. Minaj took over her twitter with responses, tweeting that "I've gone toe to toe w/everyone of your favorite male MC's. To undermine my skill & diversity as an MC is actually comical @ this point." She went on to add that "If a male rapper was on tracks w/Wayne, Jay, Eminem, Kanye etc going ROUND 4 ROUND he'd b hailed as a GREAT as well. Jealousy is a disease...Your greatest achievement in life will be attempting to undermine my greatest achievements in life. lol. Now check that. Pheadra voice"
While it appeared that Nicki was about to have the last laugh, Bossip blew up by firing back with a tweet of its own. "Somehow our extremely general question about women rappers has turned into a very specific @NICKIMINAJ conversation," they tweeted. "Gotta love this app...And she all up, all up, all up, all on Twitter with the funny face...First things first, she ate our brains...Wow, our lil' question had Nicki hotter than a Middle East climate, violent..."
We'll have to await her response on this one. The next great Twitter feud might just be on the horizon for Nicki Minaj.
