Fashion Fair Cosmetics Names Tia Dantzler as Creative Director

Dantzler replaces fellow celebrity makeup artist Sam Fine.

Celebrity makeup artist Tia Dantzler has been tapped as the new global creative director at Fashion Fair Cosmetics.
Dantzler, whose star clientele includes Jennifer Hudson, President Barack Obama, Keke Palmer and Tika Sumpter, will assist in developing, marketing and creating products, as well as leading training initiatives, the brand states in an official statement. Fashion Fair Cosmetics, owned by Johnson Publishing Company, is known as the first and largest Black-owned cosmetics company in the world.
With more than 12 years' experience in the beauty industry, Dantzler has also styled the pages and covers of magazines such as Vogue, Life, GQ, Essence and Glamour, and in 2013, she produced her first instructional DVD Red Carpet Beauty Secrets.
Her appointment follows the departure of fellow celebrity makeup artist Sam Fine, who was named creative director in 2012.
