Kurupt: the NBA Screwed Donald Sterling

Rapper says "they took a good man down."

Most people feel like Donald Sterling got what he deserved when the NBA banned him for life and forced him to sell the Los Angeles Clippers, following the release of his racist comments against African-Americans via a leaked audio recording.

Kurupt isn't one of those people. The West Coast rapper actually thinks the league screwed Sterling and came to the shamed owner's aid during a recent and very strange interview with VladTV.com.

"They took a good man down," Kurupt said. "What did he do to anybody? Who did he harm? What's the crime?"

When DJ Vlad asked the MC about the racist comments Sterling made, Kurupt responded: "What the f**k did everybody thought [sic] he was?"

"If you don't like the guy because he's racist, then don't work for him, n***a," he added.

The MC went as far as to say that he sat down with his good friend –– Sterling's girlfriend at the time of the audio leak –– V. Stiviano, and let her know to just "relax" and not care what anybody thinks. Kurupt also said that he still counts Stiviano as a friend.
