Kehlani Wants Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Performed 100% in Spanish
Kehlani is stoked about Bad Bunny headlining the Super Bowl next year as the halftime performer, but she has one simple request for the Latin artist.
During her appearance on Billboard’s 2025 No. 1s livestream on Tuesday (December 9), the singer opened up about her hopes for Benito’s big moment at Super Bowl LX.
When the conversation shifted to the global superstar’s upcoming performance, the Grammy-nominated artist didn’t hesitate to put her wish out into the universe.
The “Folded” singer said she’s actively “manifesting” a halftime set performed entirely in Spanish, even if a large portion of viewers may not understand the language.
“He’s about to do the Super Bowl and probably not in English at all,” she said. “And that’s incredible. I don’t think he should say a single word in English at all.”
Her declaration caught livestream host Druski by surprise — so much so that he thought she was leaking insider information.
The Oakland native shut that down immediately, explaining she wasn’t hinting at anything she’d been told. She was simply voicing what she hopes to see on the sport’s biggest stage.
When the comedian pressed further, wondering how viewers would keep up if the set remained fully Spanish, the 30-year-old didn’t blink.

“We don’t have to,” she simply replied.
She pointed out that fans already connect with him globally despite language barriers, reminding viewers that “his commitment to uplifting his culture has been so serious.”
She also highlighted Benito’s choice to prioritize Puerto Rico in his touring schedule, noting that his decision to perform exclusively on the island for a time helped boost the local economy.
Fans will learn soon enough what Bad Bunny has planned as Super Bowl LX is set for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California
