Drake Allegedly Slides Into a Fan’s DMs and Gets Ghosted

The “For All the Dogs” rapper may not have gotten the response he was looking for in the alleged private message.

When it comes to shooting your shot, even Drake can have an off day.

The “6 God” allegedly slid into the DMs of a woman and the interaction did not go as expected.

A user on X (formerly Twitter) by the name of @trillary_banks_ shared a screenshot of an alleged DM that she received from Drake on Instagram.

Drake allegedly wrote in the message: “Was it you I recognized tonight?”

Stunned that Drake reached out to her and slid into her DMs, she captioned the screenshot: “DRAAAAAAKEE?” along with a crying laughter emoji on Saturday (March 9).

In a surprising move, “Trillary” said she would not respond to Drake’s message because she is a married woman. That response caused many in the social media world to question why she posted the screenshot. Some even accused her of photoshopping the message. She vehemently denied that she doctored the message.

“Idk what Drake wanted. He could’ve just been fried and sent the sh*t on accident. But you think I'm not gone tell people DRAKE DMed me?! Are yall f*cking serious ?? I feel like I’m in some weird, bizarro world, alternate reality where that isn’t worth mentioning. Are yall okay?,”  she posted.

“And no I didn’t photoshop a motherf*cking thing. Still left where tf I found it,” she added.

While we may never know about Drake’s intentions with the DM, there’s no question that he has a special bond with his fans. During a recent concert in Buffalo, New York, the “God’s Plan” rapper paid tribute to Laticha Bracero and her daughter, 21-year-old Alyssa Cordova who were killed in a hit-and-run accident after attending his show in St Louis.

"You never know what somebody else's reality will be when they walk out of this building," Drake said to the crowd.

“Rest in peace to that young mother and her child,” he added.

Currently, Drake is co-headlining the “It's All a Blur Tour” with J. Cole which concludes on April 5th, 2024, in Newark, New Jersey.
