The “Marriage Boot Camp: Love & Hip Hop Edition” star announced the passing of her cousin Chris after crying for an extended period of time.

"I was excited about the new year until I got the call last night that my cousin was killed tonight as I thank God for allowing me to see the new year I'll be crying for you Chris even though I know I should be rejoicing that you made it out this hell hole," she wrote and posted on her Instagram. "It still hurts the same tell Aunt Tammy [hi] for me!" She also captioned the post with, "I’ll drink tonight until the pain is gone."

Rivera also expressed her frustration with how he died. According to her, he was killed by someone though it’s not clear what exactly happened.

"He didn't even make it to see 2019 my f***ing heart is hurt." she subsequently posted under a photo of her crying, "I can't sleep Eyes burn and feelings hurt."
