Dior got a lil' country last night in the name of showing its cruise collection. The star-studded event was hosted in Calabasas's Upper Las Virgenes Open Space Preserve, a location that's served as a backdrop for classic movies such as Gone With the Wind. The latest collection was said to be inspired by “contact with nature,” the artist Georgia O’Keeffe, Lascaux cave drawings and writer Vicki Noble, according to creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri. Fashion's foremost princess, Rihanna, was outfitted in Dior garments that were concurrently being shown on the runway. The evening was marked with a performance by Solange, who also wore the brand.
