Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa Split After 16 Years Together And 5 Years Of Marriage

The Aquaman star wrote about “seismic shifts” in an announcement posted to Instagram.

On Wednesday (January 12), actors Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa announced they are divorcing after being together for 16 years and married for almost five.

Via Instagram, Momoa shared the news in a statement and artistic photos. "We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times," he wrote. "A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage."

He continued: "We share this not because we think it's newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become… Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children, teaching our children what's possible, Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail."

Bonet and Momoa began dating in 2005 and were married in 2017. They share two children, Lola, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf, 12. Bonet was previously married to Lenny Kravitz, with whom she shares daughter Zoe Kravitz.
