Kevin Ross Headlines December Music Matters Showcase

T Soul, Antonique Smith also set to perform in at S.O.B.'s.

2014 is almost a wrap and BET Music Matters wants to send the year out with a bang.

Motown's newest prodigy Kevin Ross will headline the star-studded Dec. 9 showcase at S.O.B's in New York City, performing hits from his latest EP, Dialogue in the Grey. Kevin, who recently spoke to BET.com about touring with R&B giants Ne-Yo and Maxwell, is definitely one of 2015's artists to watch for.

Adding to the R&B star power that evening will be Virginia singer/songwriter T Soul, performing his original hits like “Complicated” and “Things Have Changed” as well as a selection of holiday classics to help put the crowd in the spirit.

Representing for the female stars-in-the-making will be actress/songstress Antonique Smith. Most people know Smith for her role as Faith Evans in the film Notorious, but the 31-year-old has also gained a significant fan base as a singer, due in part to her presence online and in music videos by Rick Ross and Nas.

Opening up thet night will be Karina Pasian, Anthony Flammia and Kandace Springs.

The evening will kick off at 8 p.m. and of course DJ Lyve and Max October will be behind the tables while the one and only Buttahman hosts. The show is free but guests must be 21 and over with valid ID.
