Pusha T: ‘We Have Done Nipsey Hussle Wrong’

"White supremacy at its finest couldn't have done something this terrible..."

The tragic death of hip-hop’s beloved Nipsey Hussle on Sunday (March 31) has left many hearts bleeding, tears poured, spirits crushed and questions unanswered.

One of the most pressing among fans is the motive behind the gunman who took his life right in front of his Marathon Clothing store and on his home grounds of South Central L.A.’s Slauson Avenue. Some have blamed envy and hatred for the respected rap artist and ascending philanthropist's murder, while others have pointed to conspiracy theories of a U.S. government assassination, such as St. Louis rap vet Chingy.

G.O.O.D. Music’s leadman Pusha T, on the other hand, has endorsed the latter in his thoughts on Hussle’s death. According the Virginia emcee, it’s us—the people that the Victory Lap rapper devoted lifelong philanthropy to—who slighted Hussle. And if you ask him, there’s no amount of white supremacy out there that could carry out such a despicable act against his life.

  • ‘We have done @NipseyHussle wrong,’ Pusha tweeted on Monday (April 1)…

“He was sharing his purest self, his vision, and traits from his heritage with all of us: empowerment and a sense of community.” The Daytona rapper added that these are qualities many of us are lacking. “White supremacy at its finest couldn’t have done something this terrible,” Pusha wrote.
