Greg Hardy's Domestic Violence Incident is Worse Than You Could Imagine

Deadspin releases photos showing bruises all over ex girlfriend Nicole Holder's body.

It has been over a year and a half since Greg Hardy's notorious domestic violence incident first made headlines.

It was reported at the time that the then-Carolina Panthers defensive end threw his then-girlfriend Nicole Holder onto a futon covered in rifles as part of his vile assault on her.

Still, that didn't stop the Dallas Cowboys from rolling the dice and taking a chance on Hardy. Well, let's see what they're going to do with Hardy now. That's because, on Friday afternoon, Deadspin released incriminating photos showing bruises on Holder's body, including her back, arms, legs, chin, neck and foot, in addition to several damaging quotes.

The lengthy Deadspin piece starts with a barefoot and scared Holder escaping Hardy's Charlotte apartment reportedly after being assaulted in May 2014. Minutes before walking away from police officers trying to get a word with her, Deadspin says Holder was thrown against a bathtub wall, tossed onto a futon covered in rifles and choked by Hardy until she told him "kill me so I don't have to."

Holder was so distraught that she reportedly told a police officer, "it doesn't matter" and "nothing is going to happen to him anyways," when asked by the cop why she was crying.

“It all happened very, very quickly,” Holder told police afterwards, as reported by Deadspin. “None of it really made much sense.”

She remembers sitting on the bed with Hardy in his apartment that day, when Hardy brought up the past and called her a slut in their relationship.
“I tried to get up, he pushed me,” she said. “Then I started fighting back, he threw me into the bathroom, I hit the back of the shower wall and fell into the bathtub where he pulled me out.”

She claims Hardy dragged her by the hair, before throwing her onto the futon with the guns on them and strangling her.

“His pupils were tiny,” she said. “I mean he looked...crazy.”

Despite those horrifying details, domestic violence charges against Hardy were dropped this past February after Holder inexplicably didn't make herself available to help prosecutors with the case. A month later, Hardy signed with the Cowboys on a one-year, $11.3 million deal. Despite the NFL suspending Hardy for 10 games in April for violating the personal conduct policy, his suspension was reduced to four games.

Upon the release of Deadspin's feature, it's already being reported that the photos of Holder's bruises weren't available to the Cowboys when they signed him.

Well, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is going to see them now. Will he cut or keep Hardy?
