Look: Racist GOP Politician Really Wants to ‘Make America White Again’

His new campaign billboard revealed his definition of Trump’s slogan.

A Tennessee politician is surrounded by controversy after erecting a highly offensive billboard. U.S. House GOP candidate Rick Tyler put up a billboard that encouraged his voters to “Make America White Again.”

After photos of the sign went viral, Tyler was asked to comment on his intentions behind the billboard.

Tyler said he believes that America should go back to a “1960s, Ozzie and Harriet, Leave It to Beaver time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration." However, he wants to assure people that he in no way hates people of color.

He also believes that his constituency has had a remarkable response to the sign. “I saw people taking pictures beside it right after I posted it,” Tyler explained.

Perhaps he doesn’t understand that in today’s world, people take pictures of things that they enjoy and find offensive. And usually, unless it’s an overwhelmingly heartwarming story, most things go viral because they have offended someone… or everyone in this case.

The sign has since been taken down; despite the positive reaction Tyler believes it has received. Tyler then put up a second billboard with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” quote written over a White House decorated by Confederate flags. This sign has also been removed.
