Ladies, we all know that nail care is no walk in the park. Nails require constant maintenance, but Simone Christina may know more about that than any of us. Simone has been growing out her nails for a whopping three years, and they are now six inches in length. Six. Inch. Nails. Like the Beyonce song, except not heels; on your fingers.

Now, keeping the length is no walk in the park for Christina, as she treats them on the daily with two separate serums.  

However, there are some downsides to this intense look. 

"I have exams at the moment and it’s hard to write, after one hour of writing my hands really hurt," Simone admitted. "On the computer, I have to type using my knuckles." 

Um, yikes. OK, girl, do you. 

Simone also noted that besides her coursework, the nails present another problem in school: gym class.

"I can’t play volleyball, basketball or anything similar. My PE teachers are always trying to convince me to cut my nails. They’ll never succeed in convincing me — but that makes my grades in PE really bad," she said.

We all make sacrifices for the aesthetic, though Simone's may be more extreme than most. 

This lifestyle isn't cut out for everyone. On the bright side, think of how much the rest of us are saving on nail polish relative to Simone.
