“The Dictator” Endorses Mitt Romney for President

"The Dictator" says Mitt Romney taught him how to handle dissidents.

Here’s one endorsement that Mitt Romney’s press shop won’t be sending out in an email blast: The Republican presidential frontrunner has won the support of Adm. Gen. Shabazz Aladeen, aka actor Sacha Baron Cohen.

"He has the makings of a great dictator," Cohen, speaking in character, told reporters at a New York press conference Monday to promote his upcoming film The Dictator. "He is incredibly wealthy but pays no taxes, and it's not much of a leap to go from firing people to firing squads and from putting pets on the top of a car to putting political dissidents on the top of them. He taught me how to do that."

He also said that he would have supported Rick Santorum, “despite his liberal views,” had the former senator not exited the race.
