Serena Williams Turns Milan Into Her Fashion Stage

In a custom Gucci number, Williams proved again that fashion is one of her many winning courts.

Serena Williams served up major it girl energy at Milan Fashion Week as she stepped out in a custom semi-sheer little black dress that gave sleek and chic at Gucci’s Spring 2026 show. This was Gucci’s Milan Fashion Week debut, so our tennis G.O.A.T. had to bring it and she did!

The tennis icon wore a sleek black gown trimmed with feathers at the hem, shoulders, and wrists, giving a subtle nod to Gucci with its signature monogram pattern woven into the fabric.

Apparently, she wasn’t just there to slay. Our girl helped Gucci steal the show at Milan Fashion Week. According to reports, Gucci’s new creative director Demna Gvasalia wasn't expected to roll out a full collection until February 2026, but he chose to surprise fashion fans with a Spring 2026 prelude that set the internet buzzing.

Instead of a traditional runway, Demna dropped a surprise lookbook and short film to unveil his vision for Gucci, nodding to the brand’s Tom Ford era while signaling a bold new chapter. He followed that up with the premiere of his short film ‘The Tiger.’

Serena helped introduce the world to ‘Gucci: La Famiglia.’ This is why our girl delivered pure old Hollywood glamour in that little black Gucci gown. Serena knows how to command a fashion moment just as easily as she did center court. The girls were gagged!

While Serena’s look didn’t make the Gucci lookbook, a similar, more risqué look made the cut. Serena and couture is a match made in fashion heaven.
