Strolling into Staples Center to face Kobe Bryant for the final time Thursday night, King James was seen zoning out, rapping the words to K. Dot's "m.A.A.d City" track.
This is after James already implored TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith let loose of new music from the Compton rhyme slinger, with the crew responding with King Kendrick's, Untitled Unmastered project, which was released last Thursday night. Tiffith then told fans to thank LeBron for making Kendrick put out his new heat.
James went right back online and thanked Kendrick for continuing his assault on the rap game, even shouting him out in a social media video for "The Uninterrupted" and describing his music as motivation towards striving for greatness on the basketball court.
Lamar re-tweeted the clip and needless to say there's plenty of respect and mutual admiration between these two.
But try to digest this for a second... every time Bron tweets about Lamar, upwards of James's 28 million followers on Twitter are getting the message loud and clear.
Priceless free promotion... unless King Kendrick cuts that check for King James.
It's pretty dope to see two young Kings in their prime rock like this.
That flow, though, LeBron...
