Tyra Banks continues to expand her empire, and this time it’s in honor of her mother. 

The supermodel opened up her ice cream shop, Smize & Dream, back in 2024 with a pop-up in Washington, DC. 

"My obsession with ice cream has me waking up each night with our company on my mind," she expressed to Fox 5 during an interview back in 2024. 

“There is no slapping my name on this company. I live, breathe, and absolutely love it. I am living my sweetest dream.”

The 51-year-old recently shared in a video the newest shop in her ice cream empire, it opened in Australia and is dedicated to her mother. 

“Oh my God, this is huge,” her mother, Carolyn London, says with tears of joy in the video. 

“I thought it was going to be a little ice cream store. Oh my God, this is beautiful.”

Banks captioned the video, sharing how her mother had “no idea” and how she “kept it a secret” from her. 

“I surprised her with her first look at the @SMiZEandDREAM flagship in Sydney,” she wrote. 

“She had no idea what to expect. Her reaction? I’ll never forget it. Ever. This is all for you, Mama Carolyn.” 

Her reasoning for creating the ice cream shop stems from her mother taking her to a Häagen Dazs ice cream shop in Hollywood when she was a youth.

“During Mama’s hard working years, every Friday night after homework and dinner, we’d have girls night at the Häagen Dazs ice cream shop in Hollywood!” Tyra shares, according to the shop’s website.
