Afrika Bambaataa Responds to Molestation Allegations

Four men have come forward with allegations.

It’s been almost a month since the first of four men came forward with allegations against Universal Zulu Nation founding member Afrika Bambaataa.

The hip-hop legend is facing allegations of sexual misconduct from a total of four men who all claim that Bambaataa molested them in the late 1970s and 1980s. While the Zulu Nation has issued a statement on behalf of Bambaataa denying the claims and demanding an apology publicly, he himself has now come forward to talk about the grim situation.

“This is false allegations that’s being put against me," Bambaataa said in a new interview with The Ed Lover Show. "A lot of lies, and it could be me today and you tomorrow. I completely deny all types of accusations. You need to ask the question... what is the hidden agenda behind this?

"My record speaks for itself," he continued, talking about his work with the Zulu Nation mentoring children and his humanitarian efforts his entire career.

Bambaataa also said he has been considering filing a countersuit against his accusers, saying that their claims are just “to gain publicity.” He also denies having met the men who have come forward with the very serious allegations.
