Authorities Don't Believe Sean Kingston's Kidnapping Story

Is the "Beautiful Girls" rapper full of it?

Sean Kingston recently claimed he was kidnapped during a jewelry dispute but authorities aren’t buying it.

According to TMZ, the LAPD don’t believe Kingston’s full story. He’s claiming he met a jeweler in downtown Los Angeles in the middle of the night to swap a $185,000 watch for a less valuable one in order to pay off a debt. Kingston says the jeweler and people accompanying him took his watch, locked him in a car at gunpoint, drove him from the location against his will and dumped him at another location.

Authorities are questioning why Sean Kingston would be doing jewelry deals late at night. They’re calling the whole thing a “civil business dispute.” The case may find itself in civil court, but nothing is set in stone as of right now.
