Cory Hardrict Reveals His Secret to ‘No Drama’ Co-Parenting with Ex Tia Mowry
Cory Hardrict is approaching co-parenting with actress and ex-wife Tia Mowry with love.
The “All American: Homecoming” actor recently made a rare appearance on “Sherri,” where he opened up about navigating fatherhood and family life following his 2023 divorce. Hardrict made it clear that when it came to their children—son Cree, and daughter Cairo—peace is his priority.
“Everything starts and ends with love. We are a family, no matter what people say,” Hardrict told host Sherri Shepherd. “I block out the noise. My kids are going to live to see this one day, and I am going to represent for them, always.”
The 45-year-old star revealed that choosing love over ego is key to avoiding tension. “If you really love your children, you won't get involved in the noise or the mess. I make sure that I always think about them first. I put myself last. If you do that, you're going to avoid the mess,” he explained.
Hardrict and Mowry tied the knot in 2008. The pair has remained tight-lipped about their split for the most part. However, Mowry did reflect on their long history during a confessional on her reality series “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” where she shared with viewers that she had never actually dated anyone.
“I wasn’t even allowed to date until I was 18 years old. Cory was my first everything,” she shared, later adding, “I met Cory when I turned 20, and I lost my virginity at 25. There, I said it! And then we got married! Boom!”
Since the separation, both stars have remained focused on family and their respective careers.
