The Atlanta rapper announced that he will be releasing his first stand-up special, “Cheaper Than Therapy,” on Christmas Eve and available exclusively on his website. 

T.I. dropped a trailer for the special across his social media platforms, previewing a set built around personal stories about his family, fame, and the grind. The special was filmed at Atlanta’s Center Stage and boasted a star-studded audience: Usher, The-Dream, and Young Dro were all in attendance. T.I. also performed with his comedy collective, The HaHa Mafia.

Reportedly, T.I. has been sharpening his comedy chops on various stages over the last few years. This special is a culmination of the rapper’s hard work and shows off a solid and deliberate move into comedy, not just a one-off side quest.
