Mariah Carey Shuts Down Rumors Of A Reconciliation With Nick Cannon

“What is he? My last hope?” said the iconic singer.

Although some celebs have given their exes a second try, Mariah Carey has no dreams of spinning the block with hers.

Yes, it's a fact that Mimi is single, but getting her groove back with the father of her children is for the birds, so someone should relay the news to Nick Cannon. Last week, he revealed to E! News that he would be open to a reconciliation with Carey following her break up with Bryan Tanaka.

"I mean, you gotta ask her!" Cannon told the outlet. "Let me know what she say!" He added, "Ask her, text me, we can talk through you. It's Valentines is in the air, you can be the chocolate Cupid. Let's do it, I'm with it."

While Valentine's Day is around the corner, Mimi has no fairytale fantasy of getting back with Cannon.

Paparazzi caught up with the "Touch My Body" hitmaker and asked her if there was a possibility that the former flames could tie the knot a second time.

"Remarrying?" Mariah exclaimed. "He's making this up. This is him being silly."

There is no doubt that Carey is a living musical legend, but Mimi also has some comedic chops up her sleeve.

When reporters asked if she was happy being single the rest of her life, Mimi clapped back with a sweet response.

"What is he? My last hope?" she quipped.

We know that's right!

Carey and Cannon exchanged vows in 2008, but their marriage ended in 2016. They are parents to 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
