LOL: Fans Think Whitney Houston is Rolling In Her Grave Over This Person's Song Cover

A girl covered the icon's 1992 track, and the Internet has thoughts.

The Internet is swimming in tears of laughter after one girl decided to try singing a cover of Whitney Houston’s iconic 1992 track, “I Will Always Love You.” This sweet soul attempted to hit Houston’s high and powerful notes, and well, let’s just say she fell a little short.

In the video, which originally surfaced on Twitter, a young woman is seen singing while sitting on the edge of a balcony. As she belts out the song’s chorus, an odd beat is playing in the background.

Since the video went live, it has gone viral and garnered a number of thoughts from Whitney fans. While it seems as though the girl has some vocal training, a number of people felt as if she unfortunately did not master Whitney’s level of excellence. A number of Twitter users also suggested that the video recording was awful and that the deceased legend would be rolling in her grave if she had heard the girl’s cover.

It’s unclear whether this girl was simply joking or really going for it, but we can give her an A for effort. Clearly, there is no singer like Whitney Houston, but it’s nice to see that her memory lives on.
