Latto Calls 21 Savage Her 'Husband'

After years of keeping fans guessing, Latto confirms what fans already thought they knew.

Has Latto finally put an end to the long-running romantic rumors that she and 21 Savage are a couple?

“My man, my man, my man!” Latto proudly proclaimed after being asked by the paparazzi on the streets of New York City if she’s tired of people asking about “you know who.” The you know who in question was fellow rapper, 21 Savage. In the clip, Latto said she was headed to dinner with her husband, and no, she’s not tired of being asked about him. Husband means a lot more than boyfriend, doesn’t it? This little exchange seemed to confirm what many folks already knew: Latto and 21 Savage are a happy couple.

So far, 21 Savage himself has not made a public comment about the confirmation. In fact, back in 2022, he famously admitted on Clubhouse that he didn’t have a celebrity girlfriend. This revelation arrives amid long-standing rumors linking the two, especially since they have collaborated through music. Latto and 21 Savage worked together on the track “Wheelie” from her 2022 album 777.

This sudden confirmation comes after years of speculation about the two successful rappers. Latto and 21 Savage, both Atlanta natives, first fueled dating rumors in 2021 after appearing together publicly and supporting each other on social media. While neither had previously confirmed their status, fans often connected the dots when the two were spotted in the same locations or when Latto hinted at being “spoiled” by a mystery man.

And then there’s Latto’s “Shéyaa” tattoo behind her ear—which happens to be 21 Savage’s real name: Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph. The world only saw the hidden tattoo when Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee posted it. He claimed that Latto’s team implored him to take it down. He refused to, even after he was offered compensation for doing so.

Latto has been having a lot of fun teasing the world about her relationship. “The internet don’t know a got-damn thing. Let’s start there,” she told Ebro Darden for an interview with Apple Music in 2024. “It ain’t really nobody’s business. Like, listen to the music and you’ll know what you need to know.”

That’s quite a different tune from “my man my man my man!”
