Jasmine Ellis Cooper of ‘Summer House: Martha's Vineyard’ Announces Pregnancy

The first stop on the baby bump tour is Bravocon.

Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard’s Jasmine Ellis Cooper is entering her mom era.

The new reality star recently announced she and her husband, Silas Cooper, are expecting their first child.

In an exclusive interview with People, she shared, “We have been trying for a little while. It's not like we were preventing, to be honest. One day, I was just feeling a little weird and, you know how you have a gut feeling? I took a test and it came out positive.”

Jasmine went on to say, “Everything in my mind that I had envisioned on how I was going to tell him — because we've both wanted to be parents and build a family — completely just went out the window. I literally just ran into the other room, I jumped on him and said, 'We're pregnant! We did it!'”

Jasmine and Silas met on the dating app Hinge and married on June 26, 2022, according to her cast bio.

They have enjoyed sharing the news with friends and family. The mother-to-be said, "Initially, just my family knew. And then we found out that we were having a boy, which is really exciting.”

She revealed that going into this season filming Summer House, she wanted to wait for her second trimester before telling everyone on the show. "So, as soon as I was in the clear and that second trimester hit, I let my castmates know."

Her support system has been crucial during this time, especially since her husband is deployed in Poland.

"Luckily, we're able to communicate via WhatsApp every now and again when he has a chance. We take every moment we can, especially with the time difference. It's hard, but I'm grateful to have a lot of phenomenal women around me."

Silas and Jasmine agree to their plans for their baby boy, with the expectant mother revealing, "We've had names picked out for all of our children for a while now."

More than anything, Jasmine is excited to join the boy-mom gang. "Outside of the cravings (savory, spicy foods) and Pilates getting a little harder to do, it's been really beautiful. I think my son is really doing me well," she said.
